Webinar on ‘Impact of COVID-19 on the lives of rural girls and way forward’

We at Abhivyakti Media for Development, believe that research should not be limited to a certain class or a group, and it should be available as a tool to identify one’s problems and its root causes even to the most disadvantaged populations. To that end, Abhivyakti has initiated a program titled ‘Shodhini’ (Female seeker) which seeks to inculcate the knowledge and skills of action research among rural girls in North Maharashtra.

In the current pandemic times, Shodhinis have investigated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of young marginalized girls through participatory action research conducted from April to July 2020.

We would like to share the research findings with you all along with the lived experiences of Shodhinis on the occasion of the International Day of the girl-11th Oct.

We cordially invite you to participate in the webinar on this International Day of The Girl- 11th Oct.’20 at 11 am to 1 pm to hear girls’ voices about their lives in the pandemic and to know about the valuable research they have done!
