Abhivyakti collects and disseminates alternative media and forms of expressions facilitating pro-people development to various target groups involved in the developmental process.

The aim is to give visibility to alternative audio visual material, how to use it to enhance peoples voices. We are collaborating with many groups in the region with the idea of setting an audio visual centres and distribute such developmental material. The collaboration also gives us an opportunity to strengthen the facilitation skills of developmental actors and devise strategies to dialogue with people effectively. 

The challenge is of two fold.
1) Creating awareness about alternative media forms that exits, and 
2) Creating space to make diverse realities available to each other.
 
 

Media Resource Centre

Abhivyakti therefore have setup Media Resource Centre in Nashik which consists of documentaries, books, journals, low-cost material like puppet shows, flannel stories, posters, flip-charts, etc. 

We have a regular membership which uses the resource centre. Abhivyakti also offers media and communication consultancy, Designing campaigns, appraisal.

Abhivyakti also has photo resource service, Video documentation, Video Studio in its Media Resource centre.
