Abhivyakti aims to develop leadership in youth to strengthen the resources of youth through focused training and consolidation of their energies in the developmental process to create leaders of tomorrow.

To sensitise the youth about developmental issues, a project ‘Anubhav-Shikha’ (Experiential Learning) in partnership with YUVA, Mumbai was initiated in Nashik. Some of its activities are: 
– Training workshops on social issues 
– College campaign on media awareness 
– Self-awareness and family life education 
– Developing media aids on social themes
– Celebrating important day on relevant themes 

In efforts to raise the social consciousness of the youth, work began in April '97 in partnership with Smile-Anubhav, Pune. Through the use of communication and media, we have been gradually developing the leadership potential of the youth in the local colleges of Nashik and rural areas.
Training, awareness programmes, camps,  family life education workshops, poster exhibitions contacts with youth was established. 

Now, we have more than 2000 youth members in the Nasik region. A newly initiated programme is the phased training on development and media for selected youth. The idea is to develop committed youth cadre who would be involved regularly in some develolpmental activities.

Family Life Education Module

We have designed a family life education module for youth, and in particularly for female students. The module covers sex education, reproduction, reproductive health, values, role and identify.

The response is extremely relevant, and the response from the participants, from women to students, has indicated the need to focus in this area on a regular basis.
