Abhivyakti came up with the innovative project namely ‘Conscious Parenthood’ Sujan Palak is a forum of parents in Nashik, actively working on the issue of parenting and child rearing for the past 10 years. Children are the focus of  work of Sujan Palak.  Child rearing is not an easy task. As parents, we constantly have to deal with problems related to children’s diet, health, schooling, discipline, value orientation, influence of mass media among others. And as parents we constantly strive to seek innovative solutions to these problems. At times, we tend to fall back on the traditional methods of child rearing too. All such experiences create a wealth of ideas and perspective for us as parents. Sujan Palak offers a platform to share these experiences with other parents to generate collective learning and enriching ourselves as parents.
The Sujan Palak Forum also acts as a pressure group of parents, drawing attention to various processes in society that may prove detrimental to development of children. The Sujan Palak Forum creates awareness on these issues and takes appropriate actions to ensure a child friendly society for the holistic and healthy development of all children.
